1. SETTING UP AN ACCOUNT

How do I sign up for buying ?

It's really simple. When you click on the Buy tab, you will be guided through a simple registration form using your email id.

Are my details kept private?

Yes, ofcourse. Zaarga respects your privacy. To know more, read our privacy policy.

Do you save my address, contact or credit/debit card details?

When you place an order, we capture and save details such as your billing address, shipping address and Mobile number, which we need to fulfil your order. You can choose to save these details to your profile for use in future transactions or opt to enter these details manually every time you place an order. When you buy a product on Zaarga, the details of mode of payment such as your credit card/debit card or net banking details are captured directly by the Payment Gateway over SSL protected 128-bit secure pages during the transaction. The details are encrypted and will not be available for any outsider to access(including Zaarga). To know more about this, please read our privacy policy.

Do I need to be a resident of India?

You need not be an Indian resident to shop on Zaarga. However, we currently ship only to locations within India. So, if you are currently outside India, you can still shop on Zaarga as long as you provide a shipping address in India. We do plan to launch shipping to international locations very soon.
2. BUYING PROCESS

How does Zaarga work?

Zaarga has invited select Designers to set up their online shop on our portal. When you buy a product through Zaarga, we facilitate the entire process and your order details are sent to the Designer, who will then ship the product to you.

Do you provide assurance of quality?

While Zaarga takes great care in inviting reliable Designers to set up shop on our portal, we do not take possession or inspect physically any of the items which are displayed on the site and hence cannot guarentee the quality and finish of each product. If you need more information about a product before making a purchase, we have provided an option on the Product Detail page, using which you can directly ask the Designer for more specific information which is not already available. We do have a system by which certain delivery issues will lead to penalisation of Designers including removal of their shop from our site if feedback from buyers warrants the same.

Can I contact the Seller directly?

Yes, you can communicate with the Designer/Seller through our message forum. This works in two ways:
   1) A link on the Product Detail page that lets you ask for additional information on a product.
   2) A provision to add notes to the Seller when you add a product to your Shopping Cart.
If you'd like to contact a particular Designer outside of these two options, all you need to do is mail team@zaarga.com and we would do the needful to submit your communication to the concerned Designer.

How do I get more details about a product?

When you are viewing a Product detail page, simply use the link to request for more details to key in your query. This information will directly reach the Designer's email box and he/she would respond as soon as possible.

Can I place custom-order requests?

Some products carry a "Made-to-Order" label, which means the Designer will make them only after someone places an order. Apart from this, specific customisation requests depend entirely on the Designer and would be addressed on a case-to-case basis. If you have such a request, we suggest that you send a query through the link on the Product Detail page so that the Designer can review your request and respond accordingly. Alternatively, mail team@zaarga.com and we will contact the Designer on your behalf.

How do I buy if I do not have a credit or debit card?

Our Payment gateway offers options other than Credit and Debit cards. You can opt to pay directly from your net banking account or ask for physical payment mode if none of the other options suit you.
3. SHIPPING POLICY

Do you ship to all places in India?

Yes, we ship to all places in India.

Do you ship to places outside India?

At this point, we only ship to locations within India. We do plan to launch shipping to international locations soon

How many days does it take for shipping?

For products marked as "Ready to Ship", we have defined the shipping period as 8 to 10 business days. For products marked as "Made-to-Order", the shipping period as specified by the Designer applies. The actual days from your order to delivery of product would depend on the Seller's location in relation to your own location.

What happens if the product is not shipped in the specified time?

We take every effort to ensure shipping happens in the time period specified. In specific cases unexpected reasons cause an inordinate delay, we would inform you of the same.

What happens if the product gets damaged in transit?

4. RETURNS AND REFUNDS

What if I do not like the product I receive?

We encourage you to review all aspects of the product before buying online as Designers are mandated to specificy all details pertinent to the product. Our interface allows you to see multiple views of the product and we also encourage you to use our message forum to seek additional information from the Designer if required. We believe that all these would ensure that you have a true and accurate perspective of the product when you shop on Zaarga. However, despite these provisions, should you still feel strongly that the product you received varies significantly from the online representation or the Designer's communication to you, Zaarga will process a Return/Exchange for your order. Please refer our Shipping and Returns Policy for further details such as the window allowed for such intimation,etc
